1. Eligibility:

   • ​Archers must have been eligible to shoot at at least one of the BUCS Championships in 2026 to be eligible to submit a Student Summer Ranking
      

2. Dates: 

   • Rounds shot between 1st April 2026 and 31st August 2026 qualify for this year's (2026) Summer Rankings
      

3. Rounds:

   • ​All rounds need to be a minimum of 6 dozen arrows in length.

   • ​All rounds need to be shot at club or open tournament day, or at a record status competition.

   • If requested archers must be able to provide evidence of their score with either a countersigned score sheet or a results sheet.
      

4. Score submission:

   • Will open on 30th June 2026 and close on 30th September 2026

   • Will be completed through a Google Forms link posted on this page.

   • Archers are required to submit their own scores.

   • All handicaps should be calculated using the Archery Geekery Handicap Calculator 

   • Multiple submissions for different bowstyles are permitted.

   • Multiple form submissions for the same bowstyle are permitted but only the most recent will be used for the final rankings.
      

5. Age Categories:

   • ​Please ensure you are using the correct age category to calculate your handicap values:

     • If you were born in 2005 or earlier, you are a SENIOR

     • If you were born in 2006 or later, you are UNDER 21
       ​

6. Requirements:

   • Archers will be asked to submit the following personal information:

     • Name

     • Date of Birth 

     • Age Category (If year of birth = 2006, 2007 or 2008, you are in the U21 category)

     • ArcheryGB number

     • University

     • Status (Novice/Experienced)

     • Category (Open/Female)

     • Bowstyle

   • Archers will need 3 Rounds (as per rule 3) and will be asked for the following information: 

     • Date Shot

     • Where Shot/What event shot at

     • Round, Score and Handicap

   • There will also be an option to submit a photo of a scoresheet or a link to the event results. While not compulsory, this will make the virtual competitions life easier if questions are asked regarding score legitimacy.

   • The virtual competitions officer reserves the right to re-calculate handicaps for scores if calculated incorrectly. 
      

7. Overall Ranking Calculations:

   • Handicaps will be summed to give an overall ranking position.

8. Little bit of fine print: By submitting your scores you agree to your Name, University, Age Group, Experience Status, Gender Category, Bowstyle, and Handicap Scores being published on this website. Scores submitted may be shared with ArcheryGB (but not details of who shot them).
